The Connection Between Semiconductor and Tester

Conductive Elastomer

Shin Etsu conductive elastomers have been designed to meet high speed semiconductor testing conditions. The MT family of conductive elastomers utilizes fine gold plated, brass wires that are suspended in a Elastomer to make interconnect with your DUT. The wires protrude beyond the Elastomer and pierce the DUT to make solid electrical interconnect. The result is a gold to gold interconnect at the PCB and a gold to tin- lead interface at the DUT.

Insertion Loss: <1dB up to 10GHz
Temp. Range: -30ºC to 100ºC
Contact Resistance: 15milliOhms
